What happens when you take an 8’ x 10’ rug and shrink it down to a 1:12 ratio? The smallest coffee spill you’ve ever seen on the same washable, lovable Ruggable. This project was a whole lot of fun and a pleasure to work on during my tenure at Ruggable.

Approach & Inspiration
Source: images above belong to their original owners and is used for moodboarding purposes only
In the spirit of creative diversification, I concepted and directed a miniature stop motion concept that starred the brand’s core product in a whimsical retelling of the classic spill, peel, and wash sequence.
Drawing inspiration from miniature cooking videos such as Tiny Kitchen, miniature furniture, and travel sized makeup, we aimed to capture the hearts of our social media audience in a brand new way.
Objectives
Generate multi-purpose and unique-to-industry assets.
Once still images are produced, graphic design has ability to edit, illustrate and create assets for a variety of platforms and can be used as static images or videos.
Experiment with delightful brand storytelling and product portrayal.
Miniature scenes condense intricate visuals and simplify the genius concept behind Ruggable rugs.
Combine forces: Graphic Design x Studio Production
This project enable more opportunities for teams to collaborate with each other and initiate more creative-led concepts.
